What is Ultrasound Cavitation?

  • Adipocyte:

    A fat-storing cell
  • Cavitation:

The formation of empty cavities in a liquid by high forces and the immediate implosion of them. A liquid is a continuum and repairs is elf if it is torn apart. Cavitation occurs when a liquid is subjected to rapid changes of pressure causing the formation of cavities in the lower pressure regions of the liquid.
  • Ultrasound:

Cyclic sound pressure with a frequency greater than the upper limit of human hearing. Ultrasound is thus not separated from ‘normal’ (audible) sound based on differences in physical properties, only the fact that humans cannot hear it.
  • Emulsification:

A suspension of one liquid in another (e.g. oil in water).Implosion: The inward collapse of a fat cell resulting from the external pressure being greater than the internal pressure.
  • kHz:

The hertz (Hz) is the SI unit of frequency defined as the numb of cycles per second of a periodic phenomenon. A kHz or Kilohertz, is a measurement of frequency equal to 1,000 hertz.
  • Svelte:

    Slender and elegant.
  • Taut:

Stretched or pulled tight; not slack. (esp. of muscles or nerves) Tense; not relaxed.
  • Efficient:

Achieving maximum productivity with minimum wasted effort or expense.
  • Confident:

Feeling or showing confidence in oneself; self-assured. Feeling or showing certainty about something.
  • Wellness:

The state or condition of being in good physical and mental health.
